Song of the Week: “On the Sly”

Word got out this week that soon the Twinkie® will be no more… so I thought I’d share a song I made when I actually was one. Recorded in Kenmore Square in Boston with a borrowed guitar (thanks, Debra!), this is from the second demo I ever did. (The first one only exists on cassette however, and there is no hole for those on my computer.) That odd hissing sound you hear in the background is from a substance we in the biz once referred to tape – and there used to be more of it on the track, but my friend Mike Mikesell remastered it sometime in the 90′s and got rid of most of it.
